Phangan Divers was established in the early 1990's - the first
dive shop on Koh Phangan! Since then, Phangan Divers have experienced
many exciting changes. Our first outlet in the lively town of Haad
Rin was recognized for achievement and awarded PADI 5 Star status
in 1993.

 As
the demand for diving on Koh Phangan grew and due to the large size
of the island we realized our customer needs for alternative locations
and therefore established our second outlet on the peaceful white
sandy beaches of Haad Yao.
Less than one year later we founded our third and fourth shops -
Thong Nai Pan and Koh
Ma. Now you never have far to go for professional diving advice,
information, snorkel hire beach diving or to book a boat trip with
us!

May 1999 Phangan Divers was further recognized for dedication and
professionalism and was upgraded by PADI to become the first PADI
Instructor Development Centre on Koh Phangan. Our Instructor Development
Courses have been running frequently ever since with a 100% pass rate
! |

PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center (5*IDC), is a dive
center that not only meets five star center standards, but also offers
Instructor level training.
Having a PADI Course Director on the staff, indicates
a five star commitment to offering IDC programs and continuing education
opportunities to dive professionals. 5* Instructor Development Centers
take on the responsibility of developing PADI Instructors.
